Subject: [Pre-Conference] 2022 Summer Teach in Color June Update

Happy Summer! We’re just over a month away from the Teach in Color Arts Integration and STEAM Conference – are you getting excited yet?

Here’s a few things to note as we start counting down the days…

🌻 We have two sets of hands-on brain breaks this year. Be sure to gather your materials ahead of time if you want to join in the fun. These include:

• Blank Paper
• Pencil
• Colored Pencils
• Markers or Sharpies
• Ruler
• Eraser
• Coffee Can Lid (for tracing)
• Protractor (optional)
• Assorted embellishments like stickers, stick-on jewels, poms, etc. (optional, but fun)

🌻 Save the Date of July 20 at 6PM ET for our pre-conference Virtual Happy Hour. More details will follow for this in July – but it will be a live event over Zoom with co-hosts Typhani Harris and Holly Valentine showing off their best trivia skills.

🌻 Have you jumped into the community area yet? This is the place where you’ll meet other attendees, share insights, and can ask questions.

🌻 Remember that everything will be archived from the live event – including the chat – in our on-demand site. So if you can’t make one or both of the days, you can still watch everything when it’s convenient.
