Today, we’re going to talk about how you can plan an engaging and meaningful professional development session. You know, this is going to be so important for you as you move ahead in your journey as an arts integration specialist. One of the biggest things you’ll do in that role is deliver PD. And I’m so excited that you’ll have your first chance to do that with this sprint project. Here’s what we’re going to cover today:

The most impacting notes from Susan’s SPRINT 3 lesson is the need to consider “adult learning theory”. instructing or connecting with peers,whether familiar or unfamiliar can be a challenge especially when the first two steps,or the initial engagement process does not go over well.
The point made to create a learning acquisition step that both engages other staff, as well as, assures them they’re purpose for being there,provides for self-directed learning (of the activity), and offers them relevant tools to utilize in their own classrooms.
