The development of rhythmic movement skills is an integral component of motor development and sensory integration for every student. Additionally, rhythmic movement activities increase student engagement by encouraging individual expression and participation in small group collaborations. This session will share the pedagogy of teaching rhythmic movement and share strategies and activities to integrate these concepts into cross-curricular units.
