Susan, Thank you for making the videos. I am glad to have the transcripts, but hearing you talk and your inflection helps to focus on what is important. I’m looking forward to what is to be learned next!
So glad that both options are helpful, Karen. I, too, enjoy being able to read everything but there’s just something about seeing someone that makes it come together in a different way. :)
Susan,
I appreciate your advice on how the both standards are integrated. I like all of the wealth of integrated information you provided in your videos.
Cheryl
Thanks, Cheryl! Glad this was helpful.
Great information here. Hoping to use the curriculum map as a guide. I have not made the recommended changes as yet to the Curriculum Map. Hoping to use it when planning the lesson.
It’s all good, Joelle. You’ll see how these two things work hand-in-hand as you progress through the sprint. It’s totally fine to work on both the lessons and update/adjust your maps simultaneously. That’s how things happen in the real world, anyway. :)
Joelle, you are doing great! Let me know if you need anything!
Susan, thank you for the excellent information and professional guidance to start SPRINT TWO. I especially appreciate the suggestions to align the lesson and the assessment side-by-side; utilize the “see-saw” method to assure a tight, consistent order with the lesson. Now, I’m ready to run with the horses and fly with the eagles in SPRINT TWO.
Go, Eric, Go! Excited to see how you put this into your lessons.
AGREED! Great breakdown of the steps and mentioning to start with one of our SPRINT 1 lesson seeds. That really got me started and feeling confident “I got this”! Must admit…. I’ve got some tweking to do with my original lesson plan…. now that I’m implementing. Thank you!
Hey Liz
Remember, these are living ideas so you will adjust and revise every time you use them, so allow that to happen. You are doing awesome!
I have a wacky question… I spend 2 hours a day driving and I would love to be able to listen and delisted to the lessons on the go. Is there a way to get the audio files?
Thanks?
This is a GREAT suggestion, Caroline! Give me a day or two and I’ll have all the audios for each lesson up and available in an audio tab next to the transcript tab. On a side note…2 hours a day driving?? You are road warrior!
You DO have this, Lisa! I know your tweaks will make your work even better.

Such an amazing new component to our program! Thanks Caroline!
