Project Overview
PROJECT DUE DATE: MAY 31, 2019
Project outline: For this project, you’ll create a final portfolio highlighting how you meet the standards of an arts integration specialist. Your portfolio can be in either a PDF or web format. However, you must include the following in your compilation:
1. Resume
- Teaching/instructional experience
- Educational background
- Arts integration experience
- Concrete attributes of an arts integration specialist
2. Arts Integration Specialist Philosophy
- Intended goals of an arts integration specialist
- Description of how goals can effect change
- What you look for when observing arts integration
- What expectations you have for a school classroom that integrates the arts
- What concrete behaviors can be seen when a school/class integrates the arts
- Synthesis of how you as a specialist showcase the goals and intended outcomes
- How you can effect change based on the expectations and behaviors
3. Standards Alignment Guide
- With revisions based on Sprint 1 feedback
4. Three (3) Arts Integration Lesson Samples with Assessments
- Nine (9) assessments, at least one of each type (diagnositc, formative, summative)
- With revisions based on Sprint 2 Feedback
5. Professional Development Session
- With revisions based on Sprint 3 feedback
6. Professionalism
- Organized, user friendly, grammatically correct, appropriate citations as needed
Upon completion, please upload your file or weblink to your coach’s dropbox link below. Our coaching team will review your portfolio together and provide you with final feedback. Your certificate of program completion will be provided to you by June 15, 2019 provided you have the following:
• Submitted all sprint projects and have received a score of 80% or better.
• Final sprint project (portfolio compilation) has been uploaded by May 22, 2019 and has received a final score of 80% or better.
